Andres Schanzer, MD

Dr. Andres Schanzer is a Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center and University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts, with a secondary appointment as Professor of Quantitative Health Sciences. He is the Chief of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and serves as the director of the UMass Memorial Heart and Vascular Center. He has helped to develop a high performing vascular surgery team of providers at UMass Memorial Healthcare and the division is the busiest vascular surgery group in Massachusetts. The UMass vascular surgery team is widely recognized nationally and internationally for their high impact contributions to the field.
