Mark H. Meissner, M.D., is the Peter Gloviczki Professor of Venous & Lymphatic Disorders at the University of Washington.
Dr. Meissner earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado and did vascular surgery and interventional radiology fellowships at the Univserity of Washington. His clinical and research efforts have focused on venous disease throughout his career. His clinical interests include acute deep venous thrombosis, chronic venous disease and the post thrombotic syndrome, and pelvic venous disorders,
His research interests include long-term follow-up of acute deep venous thrombosis and its relationship to chronic venous disease, venous thromboembolism in trauma, pharmacologic treatment of venous leg ulcers, and pelvic venous disorders.
Dr. Meissner is board-certified in Vascular Surgery.
