Ravi Veeraswamy, MD,MBA is the Division Chief of Vascular Surgery at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. After matriculating from Johns Hopkins with a degree in philosophy, he graduated with an MD also from Hopkins. He completed his general surgery and vascular training at The Washington University in St Louis under Drs Greg Sicard and Juan Parodi. He was subsequently on faculty at Emory University for a decade then became Chief of Vascular Surgery at the flagship institution of MUSC in his home state of South Carolina.
