Johnathon Rollo, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of California Los Angeles.
Dr. Johnathon Rollo is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and earned his B.Sc. with Honors in Neuroscience from Brown University. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami, and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. Dr. Rollo completed his integrated residency in Vascular Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles, and he was the first graduate of that program. As an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Washington, Seattle, Dr. Rollo took over a struggling vascular surgery program at an affiliated community hospital. As Section Chief, he revamped the wound care program, and built the vascular section at the hospital. He designed and built a highly successful outpatient office based ambulatory surgery center, the first of its kind at University of Washington. He is a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon. He is a member of the Western Vascular Surgery Society and the Society of Vascular Surgeons. His research interests include venous stenting, thoracic outlet syndrome and outcomes in peripheral arterial disease for limb ischemia. He is known nationally as a thought leader in advanced endovascular techniques for vascular surgery. He has given over 20 local and national invited presentations, and has written multiple book chapters on vascular techniques. Dr. Rollo practices the full breadth of cutting edge vascular surgery. He believes in creating active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
