Dr. Sammy Eghbalieh, FACS, FSVS, RPVI is a board-certified expert in the most advanced techniques of vascular, endovascular, and minimally invasive surgery for venous and arterial diseases. He is the fastest growing vascular surgeon in the San Fernando Valley and has done over 10,000 procedures. He is the director of vascular and endovascular surgery as well as, director of vascular imaging at Southern California Multi-Specialty Center (SCMSC). Dr. Eghbalieh completed his undergraduate degree at UCLA and finished among the top 5 students of his graduating class to be awarded “Bruin of the Year.” He later attended the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA-Drew Medical Education Program. After medical school he completed his general surgery residency at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Connecticut, an affiliate hospital of Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Eghbalieh also received his postdoctoral research fellowship in vascular surgery at Yale School of Medicine. His postdoctoral research and received national recognition and publications. After his time at Yale, he was one of the lucky few applicants to be awarded a fellowship in vascular, endovascular, and minimally invasive vascular surgery at the highly competitive and world-renowned Albany Medical Center Vascular Surgery Department. Dr. Eghbalieh champions a team approach when it comes to treating his dialysis patients with renal disease. He works closely with the patient’s nephrologist, caregivers, and dialysis centers to ensure the best possible outcomes. He is well respected among his peers and collaborates with leading medical device companies to help train other physicians in his advanced limb salvage techniques.
