Patrick Geraghty, MD, RPVI, DFSVS is professor of surgery and radiology at Washington University Medical School in Saint Louis. He practices primarily at Barnes Jewish Hospital, where he serves as co-director of the multidisciplinary limb preservation program. His primary clinical and research interests are in limb salvage, carotid disease, and hemodialysis access. He has served as national or global primary investigator for seven IDE trials in peripheral vascular disease and carotid atherosclerosis, co-authored multiple SVS clinical practice guidelines, and advised the FDA on clinical trial design and execution. He is a past President of the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society, and has served as chair of the Outcomes and Technology Assessment Committee and member of the Strategic Board of Directors for the Society for Vascular Surgery.
